Crochet Classes

Learn to crochet! We offer a variety of crochet classes, taking you from absolute beginner to learning more advanced skills. Classes are held in-person at the Tea Cozy, in the morning before the shop is open.

This fall we are offering a variety of knitting classes designed to advance your knitting skills! Unless otherwise noted, classes will be held in-person at the Tea Cozy, either in the morning before the shop opens or in the evening after we have closed.

Intro to Stranded Colorwork

You’ve mastered casting on, knitting and purling, and knitting in the round. Now it’s time to explore colors!

Skill level:  This class is for those who are comfortable knitting and purling in the round.   

Dates:  September 23 & 30 from 6 - 8 pm

Taking the Eek out of Steeking

If you’ve been wanting to tackle steeking, but have been too nervous to try by yourself, this is the perfect class for you! 

Skill level:  This class is for those who have some colorwork experience and are comfortable knitting and purling in the round.

Dates:  September 27 and October 4 from 10 am -12 pm

First Socks

Learn to make your first sock! From cuff to toe, this class will cover all the skills you need.

Skill level:  This class is for those who are comfortable knitting and purling in the round, and making increases and decreases.

Dates:  November 1, 8 & 15 from 10 am – 12 pm

Festive Baubles—2025 edition

Let’s make some festive baubles! And to make them even more fun, let’s incorporate some of your favorite colorwork designs from 2025.

Skill level: This one session class is for those who have some colorwork experience and are comfortable knitting and purling in the round, preferably on small needles.
