Shipping & Returns

Shipping

We will have your online order ready for shipping within one to three days. Most of our orders are sent via USPS, either First Class Mail or Priority Mail. After your order is shipped, we will contact you by email with tracking information.

Domestic Orders

Cost for shipping within the United States is a flat rate of $7.50 per order.

International Orders

Cost for shipping international orders (including to Canada) is determined based on the weight and destination of each order. To determine how much your shipping will be, place the items in your cart and add your mailing information. The shipping cost will show before final checkout.

Please note that international orders may be subject to additional fees such as customs or import duties, for which the purchaser will be responsible.

 

In Store Pick Up

We will have your order ready to pick up within one to three days (usually the next business day after you order).  When your order is ready, we will contact you by email and you may come by to pick it up any time during our regular open hours.


Returns

We hope that you will love everything you receive from The Tea Cozy.

If we have made a mistake in your order, please contact us immediately at:  knit@teacozyyarn.com so that we can resolve the issue.

If you have changed your mind about the yarn you ordered, it may be returned within 14 days of purchase if it is unused and unwound, and in perfect resalable condition. It must have all the original labels/tags, and must not smell of smoke or perfumes.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on yarn that has been wound, needles, notions, printed materials, sale items or gift cards.

Include a copy of your packing slip if possible, otherwise include your name, order number, mailing address, email address and phone number so we can contact you. Unless it was our mistake, return postage is the customer's responsibility. You may wish to use a method of shipping that offers tracking (we cannot be responsible if the package doesn't get here).

All refunds for returned merchandise will be credited to the original payment method. We will contact you after we receive your return with a status update. Please be aware that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
