Located in Seattle, in the historically Scandinavian neighborhood of Ballard, The Tea Cozy Yarn Shop embraces and celebrates both classic knitting traditions and the latest popular designs. Our cozy shop features a wide range of fine yarns, including wools from Britain and Scandinavia, all-American yarns, and locally sourced fibers from the Pacific Northwest.
"I was first introduced to The Tea Cozy in 2017 following the birth of my daughter Lily. Although we hadn't knit in years, a close friend and I decided we were going to knit sweaters for our babies and came in to get supplies. I was immediately impressed by the warm and welcoming feel of the shop and found so much joy in rediscovering my craft. As I dove in to the world of knitting, I always knew that The Tea Cozy would be there to help and support me. Now, as the owner, I am excited to be the one to welcome and support you on your making journey and to inspire the next generation."
